On the lookout

As you know by now, Ryan and I are throwing a vintage inspired wedding. In order to do this, I scoure ebay every day looking for bargains on linens, dishes, and favors. Not satisfied with the current selection on ebay, today I ventured out into Pasadena to look for vintage biscuit and tea canisters. Unfortunately, I was completely unsuccessful. This bums me out. If you would like to cheer me up, and you just happen to be antiquing in those great cluttered, dirty, inexpensive antique stores, please be on the lookout for old cans and canisters. They should be taller than they are wide and in good enough condition to hold water. Another way to cheer me up is to send me flowers, or buy me romantical presents (this applies only to Ryan). Happy hunting!

You should totally talk to Melissa Downs (Tuffy). She goes “garbage picking” almost daily and you wouldn’t believe some of the stuff she has found. Furniture, antique purses, you name it. She’s awesome.
